Orion's giant orange star Betelgeuse  and one of the largest known stars in the night sky—is at the left shoulder of Orion. You can find it by getting to know all the stars in the Orion, or by locating Orion's Belt, which will be almost vertical in the night sky as its gets dark.

Mystery :

Last year December Betelgeuse brightness is slowly reduce is almost dimmer than the 20th bright star. Scientists are expecting that it is gonna be a supernova because it is massive about 20 times bigger than our sun. If sun is replaced by Betelgeuse it will swallow Mercury Venus Earth and Mars and it will roast  Jupiter and Saturn

If the supernova happens it would be the closer to our solar system but it doesn't affect earth because it 650 light years away but we can see the supernova seem bright light in the sky it  can be seen through naked eye if it happens. But the twist is Betelgeuse brightness become normal after few weeks scientists find that the gas and dust  around the red gaint star  makes it brightness fainter it is such a mystery but it gone to be explode in 1,00,000 years.
