Which one win the race- solid and hollow cylinder

Which one win the race- solid and hollow cylinder

Consider two cylinders of different metals, different diameters, and different in mass now take example
One is a copper metal and another one is aluminium
Now Consider  copper as mass M1 and aluminium as M2 and and also consider that mass of the copper is greater than the mass of the aluminium
And here diameters also varies now place them on a sliding plane and remove the barrier both cylinders will Start rolling in a pure rolling manner now which one wins the race

You might think the copper with heavier mass wins the race  but actually not, neither one wins  both will reach the point at same time now again repeat the task with material of different diameter and length
The results is neither one wins the race

Finally take an one  hollow material and another one solid material now did the  same race here the result change hollow one lose the game
The reason is kinetic energy (1/2 mv2) and  Geometry of the material plays a major role in energy it causes the solid to win the race.

Interstellar Movie Mann's planet Frozen clouds explained

In the movie when the crew descend to Mann's planet the ranger scrap the edge of an ice clouds. These clouds are largely frozen "Dry ice"(solid form of carbon-di-oxide) the reason why Mann's planet is too cold is, it orbiting the gargantua(black hole) at an over elongated path, the planet swings close(inward journey) around the gargantua and flies out to a large distance(outward journey) and come close around and flies out again, In the movie when the crew desecend to land Endurance is at extreme end of the orbit (outward journey) and after docking scene endurance comes closer to the gargantua; it shows that the Mann's planet mostly away from the accretion disk of gargantua;                                                            oribtary of Mann's planet around gargantua  Mann's planet is cold and ...

How to calculate age of tree using ring without cutting

How to calculate age of  tree using ring without cutting The rings in the trees are used to calculating the age of the trees and tells what the weather was like during each year of the tree’s life. The light-colored rings represent wood that grew in the spring and early summer, while the dark rings represent wood that grew in the late summer and fall. One light ring plus one dark ring equals one year of the tree’s life. The color and width of tree rings can provide snapshots of past climate conditions. For example, tree rings usually grow wider in warm, wet years and they are thinner in years when it is cold and dry. If the tree has experienced stressful conditions, such as a drought, the tree might hardly grow at all in those years Calculating the age of the tree without cutting The age of the tree can be calculated without cutting the tree with the help of an instrument called Increment borer this instrument is bored into the tree up to the centre and ...
