How fast the satellite revolves the earth

How fast the satellite revolves the earth

The satellites revolves the earth every 90 minutes average about 16 times a day
which are at an LEO (Low Earth Orbit) altitude of 400km from above sea level it is moving at a speed of 8 km/s to stay in orbit and against gravity .Gravity at this altitude is around 90% of Earth gravity
An object revolving the earth  fall 5 meter in every 8km of rotation so for that satellites, ISS  are maintained at 8km/s speed.

Interstellar Movie Mann's planet Frozen clouds explained

In the movie when the crew descend to Mann's planet the ranger scrap the edge of an ice clouds. These clouds are largely frozen "Dry ice"(solid form of carbon-di-oxide) the reason why Mann's planet is too cold is, it orbiting the gargantua(black hole) at an over elongated path, the planet swings close(inward journey) around the gargantua and flies out to a large distance(outward journey) and come close around and flies out again, In the movie when the crew desecend to land Endurance is at extreme end of the orbit (outward journey) and after docking scene endurance comes closer to the gargantua; it shows that the Mann's planet mostly away from the accretion disk of gargantua;                                                            oribtary of Mann's planet around gargantua  Mann's planet is cold and ...

How to calculate age of tree using ring without cutting

How to calculate age of  tree using ring without cutting The rings in the trees are used to calculating the age of the trees and tells what the weather was like during each year of the tree’s life. The light-colored rings represent wood that grew in the spring and early summer, while the dark rings represent wood that grew in the late summer and fall. One light ring plus one dark ring equals one year of the tree’s life. The color and width of tree rings can provide snapshots of past climate conditions. For example, tree rings usually grow wider in warm, wet years and they are thinner in years when it is cold and dry. If the tree has experienced stressful conditions, such as a drought, the tree might hardly grow at all in those years Calculating the age of the tree without cutting The age of the tree can be calculated without cutting the tree with the help of an instrument called Increment borer this instrument is bored into the tree up to the centre and ...

Why Auto-rickshaw tyres are tilted

Why Auto-rickshaw tyres are tilted  Many times we saw auto tyres are tilted slightly about 1-3° vertical it is called Camber  Camber is are three types 1.Positive Camber  2. Negative Camber 3.Neutral Camber When the auto-rickshaw is unloaded the tyres will look tilted when it is fully  loaded with passengers the tyre inclination will become straight. It also help to withstand heavy load during traction and avoid tyre wearing during running Negative Camber are used in off-road vehicle like tractor
